Dr Terry Zhang

CityMed is pleased to welcome Dr Terry Zhang (MBChB, BBiomedSc Hons)  to the team.  Dr Terry is fluent in both Mandarin and English and is a welcome asset to our CityMed family. Dr Terry works Tuesdays and Wednesday and is available for all all GP services- face-to-face, virtually and via phone.

Vasectomy

  • For couples in a stable relationship who have completed their family, a vasectomy takes away the concern of unplanned pregnancy. 

    Using the modern 'no-scalpel' technique, the vasectomy is performed with minimal discomfort. Make sure both you and your partner have no reservations about having a permanent form of contraception. Even though we can reverse the procedure it is not always successful so a vasectomy should be considered irreversible. 

    When planning for the operation, make sure you have allowed 2 days to recuperate afterwards (longer if you have a strenuous manual job) and that you need to arrange someone to take you home afterward.
